A CPTC Pre-Course I will be held in each of our “Districts”.  Dates and venues for 2019 are currently being selected.  Please email your District Rep (see District Representatives page) or if interested in a sponsoring a workshop near you.

DATE: October 11, 2019

TIME: 9am – 12pm

DESCRIPTION: This class will be held during the PSTCA Annual Convention. Cost is an additional $40.00 to Convention admission. Sign up with convention materials (mailed in July).

More continuing education opportunities will be scheduled and posted as soon as they are determined.

The Tax Collector Basic Qualification class and examination is offered by the DCED through the PA Local Government Training Partnership.

The Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) will be holding a Webinar entitled
“Understanding Municipal Real Estate Tax Collection”
Thursday December 5, 2019
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This Webinar will provide you with 1 CPTC continuing education credit (in any category that you need it); as it will contain topics falling within the required categories of Law/Ethics and Tax Office Organization And Management as well as the “elective” category.  For those of you needing additional credits,  this will provide you with 1 CPTC continuing education credit.

Once you have completed the Webinar, you must fill out and send the Certificate of Attendance form to the PSTCA Secretary for recording*. Either email to or mail to:
